Do the modules attach together?
Yes. The individual modules can be fixed together with a hidden metal attachment on the underside of each module for added stability.
How do you assemble it?
Modular Sofa is designed to be easy to assemble. The frame arrives flat-packed and is constructed from wooden parts that easily connect together. Once set up, the back cushions are fixed to the frame with a simple fastening mechanism. Detailed assembly instructions can be found here.
How durable is Modular Sofa?
Modular Sofa has passed the Danish Technological Institute's tests with regards to strength, durability and safety, including for for non-domestic and general use.
How comfortable is Modular Sofa?
We each have our own preferences for comfort when it comes to sofas, with many people preferring a firmer or a softer seat. While we would recommend trying the sofa in person to see if it is to your taste, many of our customers praise the sofa's firm, but comfortable cushions.
What are the cushions made of?
The cushions are made from EU Ecolabel-compliant foam, and a choice of fabrics is available courtesy of Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat, certified with OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Cushions are available in either the polyester-based fabrics Field 2 or Autumn (100% recycled) or Re-Wool 2, which uses 45% recycled wool in its production. There are a total of eight colours per fabric, giving a total of twenty four colour and texture combinations to choose from.
What fabrics are available?
We offer the Modular Sofa in a choice of three Kvadrat fabrics, each available in eight different colours. Information on fabrics can be found here. For special fabric requests, please contact our sales team directly at info@moebe.dk.
Can the cushions be cleaned?
Yes. The covers of the cushions can be taken off for washing or dry-cleaning and can be easily replaced when they reach the end of their lifespan without the need to replace the whole cushion.
Can I see the Modular Sofa in-person?
