MOEBE is a design studio creating consciously made furniture and lifestyle objects, with great details that last a lifetime. It's that simple.

Formed in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams, we develop all of our designs from our studio workshop on the island of Amager in Copenhagen.

With each design we aim to create intelligently constructed, high quality pieces that not only work well and look great, but also encourage people to enjoy life with fewer distractions, and to join a growing movement of people who crave honesty, simplification and a need for ‘less’.

  • We’re surrounded by a lot of stuff, aren’t we? Perhaps what we really need is less - less noise, less clutter, less waste. Room to breathe, and to appreciate the small everyday moments that give meaning to our lives.

  • At MOEBE, our approach begins with rethinking the essence of a product. What is the core function, and how can we remove the unnecessary? How can we do more with less?

  • It means putting effort into materials, details, and construction, so that each design element has a function and a purpose. Nothing left unthought, and nothing added without meaning.

  • And it doesn’t stop there. Everything we do is guided by our six design principles. Because a great design has to do more than just look good, naturally.

  • Any questions? We’re always happy to talk. You can find out how to reach us here
