Artist studio in Denmark
Danish artist Silke Bonde lives with her husband and two children in a lakeside house just north of Copenhagen. Inspired by great craftmanship and the family's travels in Japan, they live by 'less is more', prioritizing fewer, but better designs:
"I have carefully made up my mind about each and every single object in our home. Some may think investing in quality design is more costly than buying more trend-based furniture. To me, it's the opposite. I'd rather save up for a design that I know will follow us for a long time."
Room for all
Graciela Raquel, a stylist living in the Netherlands, makes room for everyone in her family's apartment in the town of Den Helder located just by the waterfront.
They have have found a way of using a Storage Box in different settings.
Three stacked boxes with a lid create a good-looking side table by the sofa in the living room. Another box works perfectly as a night table and storage of favourite books when it's time for bed.
