Built-in sustainability
Sustainability is built in to each and every MOEBE design right from the very beginning.
Our approach to design is to be component-based as much as possible, meaning that individual parts can be swapped out, added, or repaired over time. All in service of extending the life of a product.
It means that spare parts are available for all MOEBE designs, should you need them.

Certifications
We work with a variety of third party certifications to hold us accountable and up to date on environmental and climate standards.
All our wood is FSC-certified and our furniture is tested with the Danish Technological Institute, mainly up against the European standards for contract furniture. We work with the EU-ecolabel to secure an environmental production, and are working to certify all our furniture.
Certificates and data sheets for specific materials and products can be provided upon request.

Measuring CO₂ Impact
At MOEBE, better decisions start with understanding the impact of the products we create. That is why we work with the Danish company Målbar to calculate the CO₂ emissions of our products.
By mapping components, materials, origins, packaging and transport, Målbar gives us a clearer picture of where each product’s impact comes from and where we can improve.
For us, this is not about quick claims. It is about building knowledge over time and making more informed choices in the way we design, produce and bring products to market.
